For this project, we upgraded an existing solar installation with 12 solar panels.
The original system was equipped with an older inverter that did not support battery storage. To improve the system and provide energy storage, we replaced the existing inverter with a new 6 kW hybrid inverter and installed a 10 kWh battery.
The upgraded system can now store excess solar energy during the day and use the stored energy when solar production is low or at night.
This upgrade significantly improves the functionality of the existing solar installation, providing greater energy independence, better use of generated solar power and reliable battery storage for the property.
